BEYOND THE CONCRETE FLOOR
Tinsel was rescued from a dire situation, discovered in a dark basement where he and his siblings had been abandoned in unsanitary conditions.
Thanks to TagsForHope supporters, Tinsel was pulled from that environment and finally given the chance to be a normal puppy. For his first two weeks in foster care, he spent his days playing happily with his siblings, resident dogs, and cats.
A SUDDEN SETBACK
However, his health took a scary turn when Tinsel stopped eating, began vomiting, and lost all his energy. At the emergency clinic, examinations revealed a dangerously high heart rate and blood pressure. After receiving immediate fluids and medication for a suspected infection, Tinsel regained enough strength to begin eating again.
TINSEL’S BRAVE JOURNEY
The fight for his health continues, as Tinsel still requires regular clinic visits for fluid therapy and medical attention to manage lingering weakness. Despite these challenges, he remains a sweet, social boy who thrives in the company of people and other animals.
He stays under close medical supervision to ensure he receives consistent treatment for the infection. This dedicated recovery process ensures that every one of his needs is met as his strength returns; once he is fully healthy, the search for his loving forever home will begin.
